Are you interested in becoming a Guide Runner? We are looking for motivated Vancouver-based graduates with a talent for teaching and connecting with elementary and secondary school students. By working with Guide Runner, you can expect to be personally matched with students who require your subject expertise, fit your personal teaching style and have the potential to form impactful mentor/mentee relationships. We provide an organized infrastructure so that you can focus on teaching and guiding our students’ in their academic journey.
Available positions:
Part time tutors for English, French, Sciences, Math and IB Qualifications:
- Residing in Metro Vancouver
- Passionate about helping others and delight in seeing others succeed
- Extensive experience (>5 years) working with elementary and secondary school students
- Have a Bachelor’s level or higher degree
- Eligible to legally work in Canada
- Organized, punctual and have good work ethics
- Problem solver and great communicator
- Received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine
Tutors are typically requested for the hours of 4:00 – 9:00 pm on weekdays and/or 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on weekends. Please ensure these times are within your availability before applying. Vulnerable sector criminal record check and review of references is required for all tutors.
